ProSteamUK Terms & Conditions

Please read our Terms & conditions prior to booking, if you disagree or have a question with any of the below terms, we suggest you contact us immediately.

We assume that you the customer have read and agree to our terms once a booking has been made.

1. Terms and Conditions for OFFICE / COMMERCIAL CARPET CLEANING:

a. It is your responsibility to ensure that the services detailed and the areas covered are those required by you.

b. We ask you to clear all tables and chairs beforehand, where possible, in order to facilitate cleaning and to prevent damage done to other items on the premises. All fragile and breakable items placed on the floor must be secured or removed.

c. How long are quotations valid for?
Quotations are valid for a minimum period of 1 month and a maximum of 3 months. This is dependent on the condition of the items quoted remaining the same. Please check your written quotation document for the exact specified validation period.

d. ProSteamUK reserve the right to amend the initial quotation, should your original requirements change.

e. You must provide access to power and water.

f. For Office / Commercial Carpet cleaning we charge per square meter / foot or an interval cleaning rate, e.g. quarterly or six monthly. Please note we may require a deposit on large commercial jobs prior to work commencing.

g. We supply all the cleaning materials and high powered professional equipment required for the carpet cleaning.

h. We will follow the client’s security procedures, e.g. checking all windows and doors.

i. In the event of the cleaning being prevented by the customer and / or its employees or agents including by a trade dispute, it shall be considered as performed and the charge for the said cleaning shall be payable as compensation for time lost and wages paid. This shall include any period where the customer has extended the closure of its premises excess of any statutory holidays (e.g. over the Christmas period).

j. Please note we can work on statutory holidays, local holidays, weekends: saturdays & sundays. These however will incur a more expensive rate.

2. Terms and Conditions for DOMESTIC CARPET AND UPHOLSTERY CLEANING:

a. If any estimate is given on how long it will take to do the job, this is only an estimate based on the average time it takes to clean a property of similar size.

b. ProSteamUK charge per clean rather than per hour so that we can work at our own speed and still get paid for the professional clean we provide.

We ask you to provide us with accurate details, about the carpeted area, e.g. size of rooms, overall condition of the carpets and upholstery, age, approximate original cost, any particular staining or contamination including vomit, urine, blood or faeces, as well as to specify the type of cleaning you would prefer i.e. Dry clean only, low moisture or regular hot water extraction.

d. ProSteamUK reserve the right to amend the initial quotation, should your original requirements change.

e. We supply all cleaning materials and high powered professional equipment required for the carpet cleaning.

f. When needed we can move furniture, provided it is not too heavy for a single person to move it.

g. When needed we can move pieces of upholstery, e.g. cushions, to do upholstery cleaning. However, it is the responsibility of clients to allow time for drying out before rearranging them back to where they belong.

h. All staining will be individually treated BUT, depending on circumstances and cause, ProSteamUK cannot guarantee that all the staining will be removed. It is the responsibility of the client to notify us of any DIY attempts to remove stains.

i. All carpet / upholstery cleaning bookings are subject to £70.00 minimum call out charge.

j. You must allow the operator access to power and water. All fragile and breakable items placed on the floor must be secured or removed from the rooms.

k. When cleaning rugs and carpets, it is the responsibility of clients to allow enough time for drying out after the cleaning has been done.

l. Children and pets must be moved to a safe area before work commences. Failure to do this could result in serious injury.

Cancellations Policy

It is the responsibility of the client to give a minimum of 48 hours notice before the agreed date to cancel or reschedule, failure to do so will result in a £40 charge.

If we arrive at your address on the agreed date and are cancelled on the door step you will be charged £60, we do not accept any excuses for poor communication.

Polite notice: We suggest you take your time to locate the most suitable carpet and upholstery cleaning company that fits your budget and requirements. Please refrain from booking ProsteamUK if you plan to continue searching for an alternative service only to cancel us once you have found someone appearing to offer a cheaper option.

The Booking process:

  1. Call or email us with as much information regarding the carpet or furniture you would like cleaned, try to include pictures and also any details regarding whether there has been vomit, urine, blood or faeces involved

  2. We will provide you with an estimate

  3. If our estimate is agreeable we book you in (bookings in advance will be subject to a small deposit)

  4. On arrival we make a detailed inspection of the carpets or furniture.

  5. A verbal quotation (fixed price) is then provided before cleaning commences.

ProsteamUK will never offer quotations without a thorough inspection, each job is different from the next so we price every job individually.

We believe this is the only method which offers you the customer, honest and fair pricing.
