Customer had purchased a used van and required the cab area to be thoroughly cleaned.
The previous owner was a smoker and the smell of cigarettes was present in the head lining and seat fabric.
I started by removing all loose items and carried out a very thorough vacuum, I always use a power head attachment when cleaning fabric as this help to loosen
dry soils making the next cleaning stage a tad easier.
The vans headlining was then pre conditioned using a detergent free chemical with added oxidiser, this chemical was applied lightly to avoid over wetting and gently scrubbed.
When a vehicle is smoked in, most of the tar and nicotine is trapped in the fabric above the smoker and this needs to be extracted to help eliminate the odour.
Van seats cleaned and were dry and ready to use within 60 mins!

Once all the interior vinyl had been cleaned, it was time for the final stage of de odorising.
A vaporising machine with a special odor neutralising cartridge was placed in the cab, the vans cooling system set to re circulate
and left for approx 30 mins.
Customer was absolutely over the moon with the results!
